THRC started in the late 80’s and early 90’s running high performance street machines at the local dragstrips. No stranger to drag racing Teddy spent many weekends growing up as a child at many of the tracks around, such as Shuffletown, Shadyside, Mooresville and the old Shelby Dragstrip and a few others helping his father with his cars. In the early 90’s Teddy began building roll cages and back-halfs for himself and soon, many of the local bracket racers. THRC became official and a full time career in the mid 1990’s and has grown every year since turning out 10.5 outlaw, true 10.5, Top-Sportsman, and some Pro-mod cars. Through the years he has invested a lot of time and effort into building a chassis parts business to add to the list of services offered through THRC. An expansion became necessary and THRC will be moving into a new larger facility to better serve his customers. Teddy would like to say thanks to all of the people who have had faith in him and helped to form his commitment to Drag Racers of all classes. That commitment will continue with sponsership of racing organizations that promote local racing classes for all racers.
